Summer 2019 Newsletter to
Members |
|
Dear Members, |
|
I am pleased to report that we have agreed terms with St.
George’s College, Weybridge to hire their Amanda Smith Theatre
for our 2019/20 season, commencing on September 4th, at 8.00pm.
An access diagram is given on the membership application form. |
|
The Theatre auditorium is fitted out with DVD projection
equipment and sound system, is more spacious than the hall at
The Cecil Hepworth Playhouse. The seating is raked and we would
expect it to be more comfortable than that at The Playhouse and
also better maintained. There is also ample parking. |
|
The move of venue means our outgoings will be much reduced and
so enables us to reduce subscription rates and the price of
guest tickets. |
|
The new season will comprise 12 separate screenings instead of
the previous 11 shows. The quality of films to be shown will not
be affected and we believe the programme for 2019/20 will be as
interesting and diverse as any previous season. |
|
We look forward to welcoming you all on September 4th at 8.00pm |
|
